Wrexham Advertiser 8th Dec 1900DEATH OF MRs ROBERTS, LATE BUTCHERS ARMSIt is with great regret we have this week to report the death of Mrs Roberts, the much respected latelandlady of the Butcher's Arms.The old lady, who had lived in Rossett all her life, was the daughter of the late Mr Timothy Parsonage, of Trevalyn Farm, who was well known in agricultural circles.Only just a fortnight ago she let the village to live with her daughter in Manchester, where she passed away on Wednesday, the 28th ult., at the good old age of 81, having contracted cold, inflammation of the lungs following.Her remains were brought over on Sunday morning and taken to her old home, and on MondayWere laid to rest in Rossett Church Yard.The chief mourners were Mrs Reed, Mrs Eaton (daughters),Miss Parsonage (sister), Messrs W.
